Whats On – August 2016
It’s time to nominate for the WA Tennis League Competitions for Summer (Term 4 in 2016 & Term 1 in 2017)
If you interested in playing, please don’t wait to let me know, simply email your interest by emailing [email protected] give me a call on 0409 315 619. Teams will have spare players to rotate throughout the season. The deadline for all nominations is 8.00pm on Wednesday 31 August.
** You must be a financial member of Floreat Park Tennis Club to play, there will also be an additional cost for team registration and purchase of new balls.
If you are not sure if you, or your child are ready to play pennants, or you have a question regarding the formats, please give me a call and I will give you my recommendation.
The leagues available at Floreat Park are below.
Juniors (matches played Sunday’s 8:30am-12:30pm)
Orange Ball Mixed boys and girls ages 7-10 years (3/4 court)
Green Ball Mixed boys and girls ages 9-12 years (full court)
Boys and Girls 12, 14, and 16 & under (full court using yellow balls)
Adults – Night (matches played from 7:30-10:30pm)
Monday Men’s Singles/Doubles
Monday Ladies Singles/Doubles
Tuesday Mixed Doubles
Wednesday Men’s Doubles
Thursday Ladies Doubles

WHATS ON JULY 2016
Wimbledon is just around the corner and we have lots going on to keep your tennis needs satisfied. We are a few weeks away from the end of Term 2 and will be handing out the Term 3 Early Bird enrolment forms shortly.

What’s on for the kids:
The School Holiday Clinics are back on again this holidays. Clinics for beginners aged 4 years and up, an an elite clinic for those ready for some competitions and tournaments. Click here to see more info.
The final Junior Social Club for Term 2 is July 1. The first session back for Term 3 is on July 22.

What’s on for the adults:
The Floreat Park Tennis Club have a great showing at the 3 social tennis days. The format is organised doubles play (usually 25 minute sets) with other adults of a similar level. Scores are not recorded but most still want to win a little bit. Day and Night Competitions are also available. To find out more about becoming a member, go to
The Tennis Workout Classes are always on. Andy runs the Monday and Wednesday 9:00-10:30am classes, while I run the Friday 9:00-10:30am and Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8:00pm classes. Click here for more info.
The Ultimate Australian Open Tour is on again in 2017. The tour is on January 26-29 and the package includes:
-3 tennis coaching sessions (2.5 hrs each day) with local and interstate professionals
-Watch both Men’s Singles Semi-Finals
-Watch the Women’s Singles Final & Men’s Doubles Final
-Watch the Men’s Singles Final
